Year of the Monkey was released on Eat My Records in 2005. It features the weird, eccentric, and mostly chaotic musical stylings of the group. An amalgamation of the best of metal, country, punk, and your favorite high school swing band, T.O.A.S.T. has a penchant for being shocking, comedic, and most certainly disenfranchised. It opens with a fanatical rant about how everyone probably shouldn’t breed, then follows with the proclamation that the duke himself may have been gay and finally ends with the a tale about their favorite super hero, Chef Paul. T.O.A.S.T. finds a place in the heart of anyone who holds irreverence sacred.

Year of the Cock is the Second EP released on E.M.R. by T.O.A.S.T. While this record is indeed a continuation of the bands chaotic stylings, this records definitely has a few more horses under the hood. The first song perfects the art of not giving a fuck and then moves into Taken Outside And Shot Twice’s rendition of a favorite children’s song, except something seems to have gone wrong. After that we move on to one of the strongest bouts of paranoia that we have on record as we see who exactly is a spy and after a quick shot of whiskey from a colostomy bag we are no longer scared to dance. Sit by the fire, sip cognac and enjoy.

The Upcoming third release of Taken Outside And Shot Twice on Eat My Records. This release is set to be unleashed on the public in the summer of 2010. This is a continuation of T.O.A.S.T.’s now infamous mélange of metal, country, punk, and comedy. The album features the space travels of the group in “Spank Dawg in Space” and also follows them on their quest for fame via payola in “Radio Ready”. It also reminds us of the day to day drudgery we all go through in F.E.W.S.(Fuck Eat, Work, Sleep). Sure to delight young and old alike, the new T.O.A.S.T. well forever be revered in the annals of kick-ass, don’t-give-a-fuck, rock and roll.
